Meet the Staff


Bill White

Bill has an A.A.S. Degree in automotive technology. He is an A.S.E. Master certified technician and has additional training at the G.M. and Toyota training center along with continuous ongoing training to keep up to date with current technology. Bill has been employed by local dealerships from 1983 until 1991 when the C.A.R. Hospital was opened. He was previously employed as a part time automotive instructor at Kishwaukee College and currently serves on the Kishwaukee College automotive advisory committee. He has lived in the Sycamore/DeKalb area all his life.

Service Advisor


Rachel has been with the car hospital since late 2015, but has been a service writer for over 5 years. She is the main contact at the counter responsible for documenting your vehicle concerns, preparing estimates based on technicians findings, and discussing repair options. She was born & raised in Sycamore, and currently lives there with her husband and daughter.



Mike was was born and raised in Chicago but has been a DeKalb resident for several years now. He has an A.A.S. degree in automotive technology and is A.S.E certified. He keeps up with technology in new vehicles through continuous training. Mike has been with us since 2012.

Office manager


Employed here since early 2009. Rhiannon has a variety of duties. She takes care of the office and some of the service advisory duties. She is also the driver of our customer shuttle, giving customers a ride to work or home. She was born and raised in the Maple Park area.



Technician-Employed here since early 2004. A.A.S. degree in automotive technology. A.S.E. certified technician. Attends continuous ongoing training to keep up to date with current technology.

Customer Service Rep


Joy was born and raised in Washington State, but has been in the DeKalb area since fall of 2001. She is a skilled musician, playing a variety of instruments, and in her spare time enjoys playing music and spending time with her family. Joy is responsible for many different tasks including: answering the phones, providing shuttle rides for our customers, managing our social media and marketing, and following up with customers regarding their experience with us. Her goal is to provide every customer with an excellent experience in our shop, and address any concerns they might have. Joy has been here since early 2016.
